Can't get the NHL Network to show a Western Canada tape-delayed game on a Sunday … unless it's a record-tying effort.
Sam Gagner scored 4 goals and 4 assists Thursday night in Edmonton against the Chicago NHL franchise — tying the team mark held by Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey with 8 points.
Puck the Media reported that the NHL Network was going to rebroadcast the game Sunday afternoon at 3 pm Eastern.
Hopefully, the network will carry the TSN feed, though Comcast Sports Net Chicago is the other option. Whether those of us in Chicago will see the game, well, we'll see. I have seen it and it is worthwhile TV.
Just a shame that it took this moment for the NHL Network to show a game on Sunday afternoon involving a Canadian-based team.

It was an exciting game, and Gagner, wow! And the great thing is how he followed it up with 2 reg. time goals and an assist, and a shootout goal in another exciting game against the Wings. Todd Bertuzzi also scored 3 goals, 2 in reg. time, and 1 in shootouts.

Boy, the highlights looked exciting. Wish we could have seen the game here in the States.
