Of all the unusual things I have tried, I remain a sushi virgin. The thought of making my sushi debut in a $500 all-you-can-eat dinner special isn't very likely, even with an unusual benefit.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported about the "body sushi" special at Kizoku Sushi and Lounge being served on a semi-nude woman. Despite a four-person minimum, the special is drawing interest.
The accompanying picture in the paper is intriguing, though not particularly sexy. Strategic parts are covered and food doesn't make contact with those areas, covered or otherwise.
Tabitha, 24, admits to the Sun-Times that body sushi is "risque and edgy" but says she doesn't feel objectified. "The same people that have a problem with it have a problem with the Victoria's Secret fashion show on TV. I don't even think about it," she said. "I'm a performer. I'm all about the theatrical. It's a dining experience."
I have to admit that spaghetti and meatballs would be funny to eat off a woman's stomach, especially trying to twirl the pasta. But I still wouldn't find that sexy. Oh well, food and sex are very good, and people will always try to find ways to combine both of them.
