If you see a registered dietitian, give him or her a high-five. Or offer low-key congratulations. Today is the 3rd annual Registered Dietitian Day, created by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) to commemorate "the dedication of RDs as advocates for advancing the nutritional status of Americans and people around the world."
The ADA has designated March as National Nutrition Month with the theme of "Nutrition from the Ground Up."
As someone who believes in RDs as a member of the team that can help people find a better way, I know they work hard to come up with ways to educate people on tips to a better way of eating.

Given Americans' eating habits, these people have to work hard. Show them some appreciation.
