Thanks to alert reader Tim, who spotted the update to the CFL schedule for the NFL Network, we see where the NFL Network is taking its CFL coverage once the NFL season starts.
The bad news is if a CFL game is on Sunday, it won't be on the U.S. cable channel. But games on Thursday and Friday have a very good chance of being aired and aired live.
September offers only 2 tape-delayed games, though one of those games is the second half of the traditional CFL Labo(u)r Day doubleheader. The NFL Network will carry the first game live.
The NFL Network will have the last BC Lions game at Empire Field on September 10 and the debut of the new BC Place on September 30.
The only CFL team missing from this upcoming stretch is Winnipeg, which plays on the first 3 Sundays in September. Another missing game will be the Touchdown Atlantic game in Moncton, NB on September 25 when Calgary plays Hamilton, but again, that game is on a Sunday.
The NFL Network is working on keeping the 2 games/week momentum going, and are looking forward to more live games in October as well as September.

It will really be in the CFL's best interest to make this the last season they broadcast the games on the NFL Network. The NFL Network has no interest in the CFL or it's fans here in the USA. Over the past 3 weeks they have neglected the league at an obscene level.

I can't disagree with you on some level, SPM, but I would love to know specifics. Cramming a game in a 2 1/2 hour slot meant cutting out some game action as Calgary edged Montreal in one of the best games of the year.
But I would love to know what specifically the NFL Network is doing that you don't like.

As a Montreal native who's lived in Houston for 18 years, I'm grateful for ANY coverage of ANY kind of our tiny little league, considering that Americans have no interest, except to see how US college players they might have followed are doing up there.
