UPDATE: Schedule has been updated to reflect the following week from the NHL Network. These are live games only. NHL Network will show other Canadian-based games on a tape-delayed basis.
We had mentioned Versus' lone Canadian-based NHL pre-season game. Now we learn that the NHL Network will have a few Canadian teams in its NHL pre-season schedule.
The revised list appears below, including the NHL Network dates, with all times Eastern. We may get more NHL Network games, but those matchups haven't been released. Again, these are pre-season games. Hopefully, you will watch them if you are so inclined.
The September 24 dates are significant in that one assumes a CBC 6-hour simulcast. If only the NHL Network could learn to do that on Saturday nights during the season.
My friend will be in Toronto for the first two from the NHL Network; if I know she will be there, I might watch for her. Otherwise, I'll wait for the real thing on October 6.
