This may be the season for U.S. politics, as the GOP goes through its presidential primaries and caucuses. Now that Stephen Harper has a majority government, Canadians know they won't be going through a federal election until 2015. But if you read any news from Canada, politics is huge thanks to the robocalls scandal.
Elections Canada has received over 31,000 reports of robocalls, either misrepresenting where people are supposed to vote or pretending to be Liberal Party candidates calling at very bad times.
The Conservatives have responded to blaming the Liberals, and one Saskatchewan Conservative backbencher says Elections Canada is at fault.
