The CBC only chooses to disdain "American" programming. Funny, it never has an issue with daily Ghost Whisperer, Simpsons, and/or Frasier afternoon repeats, nor recent popular U.S. movies every Sunday.
Our competition protected private networks have their own biases and extensive domestic cable fee security.

This is what I mean by mixed signals. CBC is told to run Canadian content and to make more money. Ideally, that should be with Canadian content. If funds are cut, then it feels forced to run U.S. shows.
