Black and Forde worked Alouettes-Roughriders on Aug. 16. I didn't think that'd be easy travel (Ottawa to Regina) for back-to-back games but they did both.


As for Lee and Armitage, I totally agree they will be missed. Versatility was the big thing. Lee called three Grey Cups for CBC, Armitage was easily the best live event voice at any of the Olympics he covered (swimming and speedskating). Armitage is getting up there in age, but Lee is 58 so it's too bad for him he's now looking for work.


Thanks for the clarification. My sources were incorrect. That's not good. Definitely a rough trip out West for Black and Forde. Copy has been corrected.
