Leonard Cohen took the Juno Sunday night for Album of the Year for his latest release, Popular Problems. Cohen wins the Juno as an 80-year-old.
Cohen beat out Bobby Bazini (Where I Belong); Hedley (Wild Life); Nickelback (No Fixed Address); and Serge Fiori (Serge Fiori) for the honor.
The 44th annual Juno Awards were held at the FirstOntario Centre (formerly Copps Coliseum) in Hamilton, Ontario. The ceremony aired on CTV.
Calgary singer Kiesza (left) had a huge night. Kiesza won breakthrough artist of the year as well as dance recording of the year (Sound of a Woman) and video of the year (Hideaway).
Magic! took single of the year (Rude) and breakthrough group of the year.
Sarah McLachlan won Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for Shine On.
Alanis Morissette was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. She sang a medley of Uninvited, You Oughta Know, and Thank You.
"I am deeply appreciative of this country," she said. "A lot of people around the planet ask me what [it] is about you Canadians that make you so expressed and so compelling."
The band Rush was there in Hamilton to receive the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award.

Despite all that has happened to Justin Bieber, he is still one of the most successful people in Canadian music.
Bieber spent the Junos weekend in Los Angeles being roasted by Comedy Central on Saturday. The U.S. channel will air the Justin Bieber roast on March 30.
Here's hoping that Bieber can turn things around. After all, Bieber just turned 21.
