Fun fact, on the last day of the season (April 11), the Calgary Flames play the Winnipeg Jets in a game that might be a "win and you're in" scenario for the playoffs depending on how the standings look on that day.

If we got to that hypothetical scenario, would Rogers and NBC tinker with their schedules to fit it in? The game is currently scheduled for a 3pm eastern start that day.


The game would be available through NHL Center Ice so fans in both countries should be able to watch.

Rogers is in a tough bind with the Habs-Leafs early, but that game won't lead to playoff implications, short of Montreal's seeding.

NBC might run a NBCSN feed where they pick up one of the Canadian feeds -- huge maybe.
