The Canadian teams are off on Friday but all of them play on Saturday.
CBC will show only Canadian teams with the traditional Montréal-Toronto game at Air Canada Centre. Edmonton will be at Rogers Arena in Vancouver for the final Oilers game.
Rogers Sportsnet added the Calgary-Winnipeg game. Whatever blackouts would normally apply to Winnipeg/Manitoba will be in effect. Both teams are in the playoffs, though Calgary has an outside shot at being the #2 seed over Vancouver.
NHL Center Ice in the States will have that game as well as the Senators in Philadelphia. Ottawa only needs a point to make the playoffs.
There is no Hometown Hockey or Hockey Central Saturday this week.
City TV and Rogers Sportsnet are done with Canadian teams until the playoffs start on Wednesday. In fact, Rogers Sportsnet is carrying the Blue Jays in Baltimore Saturday night.

We got to know the Rogers Sportsnet Pacific crew as if we lived in Vancouver. The NHL Network used the Canucks feed, game and intermissions, for the road game in Winnipeg and the home game against Los Angeles.
The Winnipeg game was one of the most exciting NHL games in a long time: playoff tension and lots of crazy, quick scoring.
We rarely get an all-Canadian matchup that doesn't involve Hockey Night in Canada or Hometown Hockey. Kudos to the NHL Network for letting us have this full Canadian experience (minus commercials).

Kelly Hrudey was back in Toronto for the 6:30 pregame. The Flames were in Edmonton so he was free to get to Toronto. Calgary will be at Winnipeg tomorrow, so Hrudey will be there instead.
We got nothing about Toronto except for Elliotte Friedman's throwaway line about how it doesn't matter since the Leafs will lose anyway. The Maple Leafs got Boston and Ottawa to OT over that weekend, losing Saturday but winning on Sunday.
Despite Ottawa's potential playoff position, we had very little on the Sens during the pregame. Pretty sure Don Cherry talked more about Ottawa in Coach's Corner than the entire pregame.
We got the tail-end of the 5 pm pregame hour. Maybe we have been paying attention to the wrong pregame. More interesting stories and Ron MacLean was on there. The 6:30 pm pregame should be the showcase.

Bob Cole and Garry Galley called the Senators game. Haven't heard Cole for awhile; good to hear him call that game. Galley has spent most of the season with Dave Randorf. Makes you wonder if Galley will work the playoffs with Cole.
Greg Millen, Cole's partner for most of the season, has been working with Randorf.

Gord Miller and Mike Johnson had a TSN reunion on NBCSN Wednesday night for the Dallas-Anaheim game. Miller still works for TSN but Johnson now works for Rogers. Perhaps NBCSN didn't know Johnson was at Rogers (just kidding).
Miller will be working for NBC next week but Johnson will be busy at Rogers.
Sportsnet carried the NBCSN feed so Miller was on Sportsnet Wednesday night.

The Rogers Sportsnet East feed was used Friday afternoon for the Habs game against Washington.
We got the home feeds for the Winnipeg Jets in Minnesota and the Kings in Vancouver. We got the same home feeds from NHL Center Ice and NHL Network for the live games.
The NHL Network showed us the Columbus feed for the plastering of the Maple Leafs Thursday afternoon.
