The list of Canadian films at the 2015 Windsor International Film Festival reminds you of the NDP victorious candidates in Quebec in 2011. You haven't heard of most of them, but they definitely have great potential.
We have mentioned My Internship in Canada, Born to be Blue, and Al Purdy Was Here in our 2015 TIFF preview. The Mask has been digitally restored, being the first feature-length Canadian horror movie from 1961.
Based on descriptions and trailers, I have my eye on Guidance, La Passion d'Augustine, Liminality, My Internship in Canada, Us, and Ville-Marie. The plan is to attend the vast majority of the primary productions.

A number of these films played at TIFF 2014. We also see a lot more English language films than usual so that will be intriguing to watch.
The list includes quite a few documentaries: Al Purdy Was Here, Haida Gwaii, Sandwich Nazi, and The Trick with the Gun. A Gay Girl in Damascus: The Amina Profile is a hybrid documentary. Born to be Blue is a biopic.
