The NHL continues to stumble blindly through the second half of this season.
The league blew off a NHL Center Ice free preview in the logical spot: right after the All-Star Game to include Hockey Day in Canada. So when the league says, "hey, let's do a preview," no one was ready to take advantage.
The sudden appearance of the NHL Center Ice free preview started Saturday. I tried valiantly to get Comcast to put the free preview on the air but to no avail; we are now in Day 3 and still no preview.
There were no Canadian teams on Valentine's Day, so the rest of the preview starts today.
NHL second half off to horrible start from media standpoint

Hopefully, you were able to see the preview on Saturday. Hopefully, you are able to see the preview today. After all, there is an afternoon game today, though there will be rebroadcasts of that game.
The Saturday games that were technically available on the free preview were Toronto @ Vancouver, Ottawa @ Columbus, and Winnipeg @ Edmonton.
By throwing on a preview that caught everyone on guard, the spirit of the 7-day preview has disappeared. The NHL has become even more tone-deaf, and that is amazing to consider.
If you do end up getting a free preview, here are the games listed below. In all seriousness, good luck.
