ESPN2 will carry the B.C. Lions in the nation's capital on Thursday. TSN has the Friday night opener with Winnipeg going east to Montréal. Both ESPN2 and TSN will have Saskatchewan in Edmonton.
The Saturday contest has the Hamilton Tiger-Cats traveling to Calgary.
This is the final week for regular season telecasts on ESPN2. After this weekend, U.S. viewers will have to rely on ESPN3 for the games until the playoffs.
Toronto gets a week off during the Canadian National Exhibition. Don't eat too much junk food.

When you think Montréal can't put a good offensive game, the Alouettes surprise you. An offence that struggles that badly doesn't normally score 43 points. Then again, this was a weekend of blowouts.
Toronto scored the first 8 points in less than 30 seconds, yet the Argos were still blown out by Edmonton.
Calgary took the season series with B.C. with its solid win in Vancouver. Too bad these teams are done because they have been the cream of the West.
The Alouettes, for the moment, brought the East much closer together.
The wild card in the East is Hamilton. The Tiger-Cats also pulled up an amazing comeback last week in Vancouver, but Zach Collaros showed this past week the potential the team can show in the second half of the season. If this is the Hamilton team we will see in the second half, the teams in the East should be concerned.

Andrew Buckley scored a TD for the Stampeders. Don't worry, we won't mention every time a Canadian QB scores in the CFL. Canadian QB Brandon Bridge, who started the year with the Alouettes, is now part of the Saskatchewan QB mix. Even with the struggles of the Roughriders, Bridge might not see too much playing time.
---
The CFL has been playing fairly even this year. 4 of the 9 teams are 4-4. Ottawa is a ½ game up, B.C. a game up, and Montréal a game back. Only Calgary (6-1-1) and Saskatchewan (1-7) are separated from the middle.
Points margin doesn't always tell a true and complete story, but at the moment, they might give us a glimpse as to how the second half might go. Here are the point differentials of the 4-4 teams.
Hamilton +36
Edmonton +17
Winnipeg +13
Toronto -32
The point differentials from the border teams:
B.C. +25
Ottawa +8
Montréal -13
Of the 2 teams in extreme, the Calgary Stampeders are +87 while the Saskatchewan Roughriders are -141.
