Traveling this summer in Canada, one curiosity played out: would I get a chance to try French's ketchup? An even better question: was French's as good or better than Heinz ketchup in Canada?
French's ketchup turned out to be more visible in my travels in Canada. The Canadian pride we saw earlier in the year was rather amazing since Canadians are humble overall.
I got to try French's side-by-side with Heinz in Winnipeg and check out French's by itself in Regina. Canadian pride goes to French's but consumers will decide ketchup based on taste.
