Unlike other sports, the Canadian MLS teams have been represented pretty well in the U.S. TV package with ESPN and Fox Sports 1. For the first time in anyone's recent memory, an all-Canadian regular season matchup will air on U.S. TV. ESPN will show Toronto FC at Stade Saputo in Montréal on Sunday at 3 pm Eastern.
ESPN is not doing Canada any favours by showing the game. Toronto FC has clinched a playoff spot, sitting third in the Eastern Conference. The Montréal Impact is fourth; the top 6 teams qualify for the playoffs.
TSN2 and RDS will carry the game in Canada.
Toronto FC has 49 points while the Impact have 44 points. The two New York teams each have 51 points. D.C. United is fifth with 43 and the Philadelphia Union have 42.
This is also a rematch of last year's playoffs where the Impact shut out the Reds 3-0 on October 29.
Both teams want to reach the top 2 spots to get a week of rest in the playoffs.

As for the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Western Conference team was eliminated from playoff contention on October 2. The Whitecaps are in San Jose on Sunday and host Portland on October 23.
The knockout games will be on October 26-27 with conference semifinals on October 30 and November 6.
