The sun is still pretty hot but the 2018 NHL preseason schedule gets underway early Saturday morning. The Calgary Flames start the preseason with a pair of games in China with Boston. The teams will play in Shenzhen Saturday and in Beijing on September 19.
Kraft Hockeyville will be in Lucan, Ontario featuring the Battle of Ontario on September 18.
Montréal will host Washington in its annual exhibition game at the Centre Videotron in Québec City on September 20.
Vancouver hosts its final preseason game in Kelowna on September 29.
Oshawa, Ontario will host 2 American teams for an exhibition game on September 28 with the "hometown" Buffalo Sabres and the NY Islanders.
