We noted last spring that Season 4 of Schitt's Creek only had 12 episodes instead of the usual 13 episodes. This is because the show is doing a Christmas episode.
When we normally see Schitt's Creek, the weather is reasonably warm. The show doesn't say it's in Canada.
In the Christmas episode, Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy) wants a family Christmas celebration. Knowing the people in Schitt's Creek, that won't be an easy task.
Levy and Catherine O'Hara were promoting the Christmas episode on the Ellen show last week. You can find the extended version of that interview.
Schitt's Creek has been nominated for Best Comedy at the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards to be handed out January 13. The other nominees in this category are Atlanta; Barry; The Good Place; The Kominsky Method; The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; The Middle; and One Day at a Time.

U.S. viewers can also catch up on Schitt's Creek episodes on Netflix. Canadian viewers can watch on the new CBC Gem app.
