We usually have the complete U.S. television fall schedule well before now. The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has produced a lot of uncertainty. The news from Hollywood is incomplete and has reduced to a trickle.
Some of the new 2020-2021 TV shows this coming fall were scheduled midseason replacements from this past television year.
Kim Cattrall stars as the wife and matriarch in Filthy Rich on Fox in a southern TV evangelical empire when her husband (apparently) dies in a plane crash and they discover 3 new children outside the marriage. Filthy Rich is scheduled to run Tuesday nights at 9 pm Eastern.
Will Sasso is part of the couple with two young kids in the spotlight of United We Fall on ABC. They get a lot of flak from their parents as well as others who cross paths in their lives.
The Republic of Sarah features Megan Follows (unless there is a different Megan Follows) on the CW. The show doesn't have a scheduled timeslot.
Colin Mochrie and his Whose Line Is It Anyway band of improvisers have been promoted to the fall and winter lineups on the CW with back-to-back episodes Mondays at 8 pm (fall) and Fridays at 9 pm (winter) for Season 16 (Season 8 for the CW).
Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, whose father is Canadian, will have a show called Young Rock on NBC about his formative years. We assume that won't involve his brief time with the Calgary Stampeders.
Thomas Middleditch stars in B Positive on CBS and will also run on CTV. The show comes from hitmaker Chuck Lorre. Middleditch plays a therapist and divorced father who needs a new kidney.

NBC has renewed A Little Late with Lilly Singh in that 1:35 am Eastern timeslot.
Here are Canadian actors returning to U.S. shows in the fall or winter:
- Stumptown with Cobie Smulders as the lead and Tantoo Cardinal (ABC) for Season 2
- Kids in the Hall alum Mark McKinney as well as Lauren Ash on Superstore (NBC) for Season 6
- Nathan Fillion in the lead role of The Rookie (ABC) for Season 3
- Norm Macdonald on The Orville (Fox moving to Hulu) for Season 4
- Grace Park on A Million Little Things (ABC) for Season 3
- Tyler Labine on New Amsterdam (NBC) for Season 3
- Bruce Greenwood on The Resident (Fox) for Season 4
- Jessica Paré on SEAL Team (CBS) for Season 4
- Athena Karkanis on Manifest (NBC) for Season 3
- Kevin O'Leary on Shark Tank (ABC)
Will Arnett, who serves as host and executive producer of Lego Masters (Fox), finally got renewed for Season 2. The renewal finally came in November 2020.
Will & Grace has ended its second run gracefully (pun intended) so Eric McCormack is available. Ransom featuring Nazneen Contractor that ran on Global in Canada and CBS in the United States was cancelled last summer.
Kidding on Showtime is done after 2 seasons. The second season of the Jim Carrey comedy wrapped its run in March.
Rizwan Manji (Schitt's Creek) played Reverend Jax on Perfect Harmony on NBC. The program was cancelled yesterday by NBC.
Ennis Esmer plays Rich Dotcom / Gord Enver on Blindspot on NBC. The show is finishing its fifth and final season this spring and summer on NBC.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is the lead in the Netflix teen comedy series Never Have I Ever from co-creator Mindy Kaling.
Molly Parker will be back for Season 3 of the Lost in Space reboot on Netflix. The show was renewed in March for what will be the final season. Tricia Helfer played Dracula in Season 4 on Van Helsing on Syfy. Season 5 coming up will be the final season of the show.
The Detour from Jason Jones and Samantha Bee has come to a conclusion after 4 seasons. Seasons 1 and 3 were outstanding. Seasons 2 and 4 struggled mightily. The Season 4 episode The Entertainer featured American actor Jere Burns as a character named Blu Brown, a definite homage to Red Green.
The duo are working hard on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS with Jones running the camera on the pandemic episodes. Allana Harkin serves as a producer and correspondent on the show.
