Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, announced on Instagram that he is transgender. Page goes by he/they pronouns.
You might recall the last time Page came up on CanadianCrossing.com was his directorial debut last year. There's Something in the Water tackles environmental racism in Nova Scotia, Page's home province. The film is available outside Canada on Netflix.
We are aware of Page's career on U.S. projects though we choose to focus on Page's work on Canadian projects.
We heartily congratulate Page on his significant announcement yesterday. Page is an amazing Canadian artist and a wonderful human being. That hasn't changed one bit with the announcement.

Glaad.org has a reference to help people understand better. There are some good tips that are worth noting. Elliot Page is a non-binary, transgender person.
There's Something in the Water showed that Page has a good sense behind the camera. As much as we enjoy Page on screen, he has great potential behind the camera.
