We have a 2021 NHL preseason schedule. The schedule might remind you a bit of the 2021 NHL season with (mostly) all-Canadian matchups.
The eastern teams are in a round robin tournament of sorts playing each other, except for an Ottawa getaway in Winnipeg. The western Canadian NHL teams are doing something similar with the brand new Seattle Kraken.
The Kraft Hockeyville winners are delayed once again. The 2020 winner was Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador (George Hawkins Memorial Arena). The 2021 winner was Elsipogtog First Nation, New Brunswick (Chief Young Eagle Arena). The NHL is playing the exhibition game of the 2020 winner on the U.S. side.
The Vancouver Canucks moved its American Hockey League team a lot closer to home. The team moved from Utica, NY to Abbotsford, BC. The Canucks host Calgary in Abbotsford on September 27.
The Seattle Kraken "home" preseason games are spread throughout Washington state since Climate Pledge Arena is getting last-minute work.
The home of the Winnipeg Jets is now known as the Canada Life Centre.
