Editor's note: Once again Rogers Sportsnet decided to wait until the last minute to introduce broadcast information. The story has been updated.
Better late than never!? The 2022 spring training Grapefruit League schedule starts today as the Toronto Blue Jays are in Dunedin, FL. The 2022 season should be unique in that the Blue Jays will play their home games in Toronto right from the start.
The schedule is a lot smaller than a typical spring training schedule, not quite 3 weeks.
You will notice there are no Montréal games in the 2022 schedule. The Toronto Blue Jays decided back in November that the spring training schedule would not include a trip to Olympic Stadium. The Blue Jays haven't been in Montréal since 2019, though they were scheduled to be there in 2020 with the New York Yankees.
The Toronto Blue Jays plan in 2021 for spring training was outsourcing as many telecasts to other outlets. While that is consistent with Rogers penny pinching (even though Canada does not have pennies), the other team's announcers don't know the Blue Jays prospects or keep track of players not on their team's squad when they come into the game.
Here is the overall 2022 Toronto Blue Jays spring training schedule:
March 18 @ Baltimore
March 19 @ Philadelphia
March 20 Pittsburgh
March 21 @ Detroit
March 22 NY Yankees
March 23 @ Philadelphia
March 24 Atlanta
March 25 Detroit
March 26 @ NY Yankees
March 27 Philadelphia
March 28 @ Atlanta
March 30 @ NY Yankees (6:35 pm)
March 31 Detroit
April 1 @ Pittsburgh
April 2 Philadelphia
April 3 NY Yankees
April 4 @ Detroit
April 5 Baltimore
All starting times at 1:07 pm (home) and 1:05 pm (road) unless noted. There are no split-squad games for the 2022 preseason.
Every team @BlueJays plays in #springtraining has released their broadcast schedule. @sportsnetPR @Sportsnet still waiting for Toronto broadcast schedule. You OWN the team. Running an article tomorrow morning, hours before the first exhibition game. Just saying.

These road games are on TV in the opposing team market. Rogers might only produce games in Dunedin.

MLB Network in the United States will show spring training games, mostly on tape delay. The Saturday game at the Philadelphia site will air live on MLB Network. The above list of Toronto road games will be helpful for the MLB Network list for televised games.
Here is the Rogers Sportsnet TV schedule. Some of these games may feature the opposition feed.

Friends: I thought it was important to let you know I’m being treated for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Still, I intend to be there opening day, sitting beside @SiddallJoe hosting #BlueJays Central. Hope you’ll join us then.

Rooting for Jamie Campbell to be back on Opening Day for the regular season schedule. Get well and strong.
Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler will likely handle TV for games Rogers Sportsnet will produce. Dan Shulman will have NCAA tournament games to call. Ben Wagner will call games on radio, shockingly without a partner. There should be multiple people qualified to do colour analysis or even call a few innings.
