Welcome to the CFL preseason, 2024 version. The prairie teams — Winnipeg and Saskatchewan — play each other on May 20 (Victoria Day) in Regina to start the preseason schedule.
Each of the 9 teams plays a home game and a road game. Games reside within the division so no crossovers. The Toronto Argonauts preseason home is once again in Guelph, ON.
The new normal for TSN is 2 televised preseason games, same as 2023 and down from 4 in 2022. The Canadian English language rights holder shows a doubleheader on May 31 with Montréal in Ottawa followed by Edmonton in Vancouver to battle the BC Lions.
RDS will carry both Montréal Alouettes preseason games en Francaise.
CFL+ has the other preseason games in Canada and all the games outside Canada. The service is free, though you need to register. There are simultaneous preseason games so you can't watch every game live.
The CFL decided in February after the original preseason schedule to make a couple of modifications. The league wanted all of the final preseason games to be on the same day, so the Hamilton-Toronto game from June 1 in the afternoon to May 31 at night. The Montréal-Ottawa game stayed on May 31 but moved up 30 minutes for a 7 pm kickoff.

The Toronto Argonauts preseason home in Guelph, Ontario includes the preseason game at Alumni Stadium, where the Hamilton Tiger-Cats played its home games in 2013 during the construction of Tim Hortons Field. The Argos had used Varsity Stadium at the University of Toronto for preseason games in the recent past. Varsity Stadium has hosted more Grey Cup games than any other structure in Canada.
